We are a leading consumer services company in the healthcare and treatments space. Our team offers top-tier brands and services, and is providing support across North America. We are continuing to grow and looking to add an Assistant Controller to the mixture.

Position Overview
The Assistant Controller will play a vital role in supporting the financial management of the organization, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with applicable regulations. This position will work closely with the Controller and help oversee the accounting department, manage audits, and assist with tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
Support the Controller in managing the accounting team and ensuring efficient workflows.
Oversee the audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to maintain compliance and improve efficiency.
Conduct financial analyses and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecasts using Adaptive Insights.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on tax and audit.
Experience in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team.
