HYBRID Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hybrid Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance law and will be responsible for representing clients in various insurance defense matters. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while handling a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in insurance defense litigation cases
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant insurance laws and regulations
  • Prepare for and attend court appearances, mediations, and depositions
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on complex cases
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records in compliance with firm policies

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the state
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation
  • Strong understanding of insurance law and related regulations
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
  • Experience in bad faith litigation, personal injury, or healthcare malpractice is a plus
