Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IP Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our team, specializing in AI patents. You will work closely with clients in the tech, AI, and software industries to provide strategic counsel on patent prosecution, portfolio management, and licensing. You will be responsible for advising on AI patentability, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and managing patent portfolios. Your role will also include providing opinions, conducting due diligence investigations, and supporting litigation efforts as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and prosecute patent applications in AI and related technologies.
Advise clients on patent portfolio strategy, IP due diligence, and licensing.
Conduct patentability, validity, and infringement analyses, focusing on AI technologies.
Represent clients in post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IP strategy with business goals.

Qualifications:

J.D. with 5+ years of experience in intellectual property law, focusing on AI patents.
Strong technical background in AI, machine learning, or related fields (e.g., computer science, software engineering).
Experience in drafting and prosecuting patents, managing IP portfolios, and advising clients on licensing and strategy.
A keen understanding of the business and strategic importance of intellectual property.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
