M&A Financial Analyst (SaaS)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented M&A Financial Analyst with a strong background in Financial Planning & Analysis, specifically within the SaaS sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating potential merger and acquisition opportunities, conducting financial modeling and analysis, and assisting in the integration of newly acquired companies to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions
Evaluate target companies' financial health and performance metrics
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic fit and operational synergies
Assist in the integration of acquired companies, including financial planning and reporting
Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and market dynamics
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements in financial reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in M&A or corporate finance
Strong knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis and SaaS business models
Proficient in Excel and financial modeling techniques
Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting standards
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
