Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Jersey Shore - Manasquan, NJ - Onsite

Compensation: $80K-$100K

Who We Are: Since 1994, we have been a manufacturer of custom cable assemblies for RF and fiber optic applications. We specialize in precision-engineered, niche RF and fiber optic systems/subsystems. We are ISO 9001 and IPC620 certified, with a core of our work being used in military applications.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in military drawing and specification for electromechanical products. You will work closely with our customers to ensure our products are in line with their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and systems according to project specifications.
Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for all mechanical assemblies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Conduct testing and analysis of prototypes to identify improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Utilize MRP software to manage inventory and production schedules effectively.
Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including drawings and specifications.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams during production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years Mechanical Engineering experience, preferably with electromechanical products
Experience with military drawing and specification highly preferred.
Experience with cable assemblies and wire harnesses is a huge plus.
Strong understanding of MRP systems and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Proficient in Excel and other engineering software tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
