Construction Project Manager - Electrical Utilities

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects within the electrical utility sector across Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes, particularly in high voltage overhead and underground utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience preferably in the electrical utility construction industry
• Strong knowledge of utility construction practices, safety regulations, and quality standards related to high voltage overhead and underground construction projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead groups of 20-40 people.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
