We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in real estate law, including handling residential and/or commercial closings. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage files from contract to post-closing with efficiency, accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
Coordinate and manage real estate transactions from contract through closing
Prepare and review settlement statements, deeds, and closing documents
Conduct title searches and resolve any title issues or pre-closing requirements
Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, realtors, and other parties involved in the transaction
Coordinate disbursements, fund closings, and ensure timely recordation of documents
Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines for multiple transactions
Minimum of 2 years of real estate law experience, preferably in a law firm or title company
Strong knowledge of Virginia real estate laws, title, and settlement procedures
Proficiency with real estate software (e.g., SoftPro, Easy HUD, or similar)
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
