Position Overview:
We are a leading subcontractor specializing in roofing, drywall, siding, and solar solutions. With a commitment to quality and safety, we strive to exceed industry standards while delivering exceptional service to our clients. We're seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs that ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety across all job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on job sites.
Provide safety training and orientation for new employees and subcontractors.
Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop corrective action plans.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers to assess safety risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
Stay current on safety trends and regulations in the roofing, drywall, siding, and solar industries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety specific roles, preferably in construction or subcontracting.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification in Safety Management (e.g., CSP or equivalent) is a PLUS
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
