We're working with a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company that's reshaping how engineering teams monitor and optimize frontend and mobile performance. Their platform is purpose-built to give developers and DevOps teams real-time visibility into user sessions, performance bottlenecks, and application health - all powered by modern open standards.
With a seasoned leadership team and backing from top-tier investors, this company is gaining rapid traction across industries like retail, travel, and digital media. Customers rely on them to surface issues traditional observability platforms miss - helping teams move faster and ship with confidence.
We're looking for a Senior Web Performance Engineer to help expand their open-source footprint, build high-performance SDKs, and tackle complex data and monitoring challenges at scale.
Build and maintain robust, production-ready open-source SDKs
Debug real-user sessions using traces, logs, and web vitals
Collaborate with product and customer teams to improve performance tooling
Contribute to the OpenTelemetry ecosystem
Design and optimize systems to handle millions of sessions per day
Strong experience with JavaScript and modern frontend performance techniques
Deep understanding of web vitals, tracing, and browser debugging tools
Experience building or maintaining SDKs/libraries used by developers
Open-source contributions or community engagement is a plus
6+ years of professional software engineering experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
$150K-$250K base salary (depending on experience)
100% remote work (U.S. only)
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
Flexible PTO and working hours
Collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment
Work with modern tools and real-world performance problems
If you're passionate about frontend performance, developer experience, and observability - and want to help build tools engineers actually love - we'd love to hear from you.
