Works with the tax team to prepare and review complex returns
Handles routine client tax questions, and work with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
Stays informed about firm capabilities other than tax compliance area, and promotes these activities to clients when appropriate
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws, keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation
Provide guidance and support to clients on tax planning strategies and compliance issues.
Coordinate with external auditors and resolve any tax-related issues that arise during audits
Assist in developing and implementing tax compliance policies and procedures that align with best practices
Mentor and train junior staff in tax preparation and compliance processes
8+ years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation
Ideally, at least 4 years of tax review experience
Experienced with both individual and business tax
CPA license or Enrolled Agent
B.S in Accounting or related degree
Masters in Taxation strongly preferred
