Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. This position will focus on providing comprehensive tax planning and compliance services for a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals and various business entities. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to ensure accurate reporting and strategic tax optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage tax compliance and reporting for various entities including LLCs, S Corporations, and Partnerships.
- Provide strategic tax planning services for high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Assist with estate and trust tax matters, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize client tax liabilities while ensuring adherence to federal and state tax laws.
- Review tax returns prepared by team members for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax filings.
- Stay current on tax regulations and changes, providing guidance to clients on implications for their tax situations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and complex entities.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, especially related to LLCs, S Corps, and partnerships.
- Experience with estate and trust taxation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
