Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize chemical processes for production efficiency.
- Conduct experiments and simulations to validate process designs.
- Analyze and improve reaction engineering techniques.
- Apply thermodynamic principles to solve engineering problems.
- Utilize fluid mechanics to enhance process operations.
- Implement mass and heat transfer principles in process design.
- Oversee chemical process simulation and modeling.
- Ensure quality control measures are adhered to throughout production.
- Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Conduct safety and hazard analysis for chemical processes.
- Evaluate and select materials for chemical applications.
- Contribute to environmental engineering efforts and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in process design and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of reaction engineering and thermodynamics.
- Familiarity with fluid mechanics, mass transfer, and heat transfer principles.
- Experience with chemical process simulation software.
- Solid understanding of quality control practices.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of materials science and environmental engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
