Maintenance Manager

Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally and in compliance with safety standards. This role involves managing a team of maintenance personnel, developing maintenance strategies, and maintaining an efficient workflow to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily maintenance operations and ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal condition.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in troubleshooting and repair activities.
  • Implement and enforce safety compliance standards throughout the maintenance department.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all maintenance activities.
  • Control inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and maintenance records for all equipment and processes.
  • Schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruption to operations and ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the maintenance operations and implement best practices.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in facility management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and equipment repair skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and personnel management.
  • Thorough understanding of safety compliance regulations and best practices.
  • Proficient in budget management and cost control techniques.
  • Experience with inventory control and supply chain management for maintenance operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation and maintenance management software.
