Founded 60+ years ago and serving members in the state of Virginia, we are a community financial institution. Our team assists in personal and business banking, along with loans and mortgages. We are growing and looking to add a Software Developer to the mixture.

Position Overview
As a Software Developer, you will be a crucial member of the engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET framework.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using Angular and JavaScript.
Write efficient SQL queries for database management and data manipulation.
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the development team.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience.
Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable software solutions.
Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Developer with a strong understanding of C#, JavaScript, and Angular.
Experience with SQL and database design.
Familiarity with .NET framework and development tools.
Knowledge of ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
Experience with Agile methodologies and Microservices architecture is desirable.
Understanding of Unit Testing principles and practices.
Familiarity with version control systems, specifically GIT.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration is preferred.
Experience with cloud services like Azure or AWS is a bonus.
Proficiency in using Visual Studio and TypeScript is advantageous.
